Hi, I'm Michael

I'm a Product Discovery person driven by a blend of enthusiasm and curiosity in everything I do.

I help you discover what your online audience really thinks and feels. And then design clearer, smarter digital journeys that are easier to use, quicker to understand, which importantly convert. This enables people to do what they came to do, and helps companies reach their goals.

Empathy is key to creating great effective user experiences. By understanding your audience and their needs better, you can:

  • Boost conversion by removing friction and making key journeys easier to complete

  • Improve retention and engagement by designing what users actually need

  • Connect user goals with business goals, so the experience supports both

  • Reduce risk by testing ideas early and avoiding costly rework later

  • Save time and budget by focusing on what will make the biggest impact

My background spans UX, design, and marketing. I understand the balance between creating great user experiences and achieving business outcomes like sign-ups, retention, or revenue. I often help teams who have plenty of data but not enough clarity. I bridge that gap by turning behaviours into insights, then into practical design.

Sectors I’ve worked in include Tech, Sustainability, Education, Web3, Travel, Food, Sport, Non-Profits, Insurance, and Telecoms. I focus on work that feels meaningful, especially where design can make a positive impact in areas like wellbeing, climate, and tech for good.

I don’t take on projects in fossil fuels, gambling, tobacco or vaping.

I began my career in Sustainability, which has shaped my ethos. I also have a deep love for nature and how everything is connected!

I’m Irish and based in London working remotely with global clients.

Always happy to chat!
